    All Hallow's Eve

The reason we have endured 10+ months of construction to double the size our house is to remain in our neighborhood. Bren Rose held its 39th annual Halloween costume parade and party last night. There were a number of new, young families in attendance. This is our sixth year in the house.

Nathan was Obi-Wan Kenobe and Jocelyn was some sort pink cat. We did not have very many Trick or Treaters this year for some reason. I think it was a combination of (1) church night as we live in the buckle of the bible belt; (2) younger children on the order of 3 or 4 years old; and (3) people uncertain of whether or not we were home due to the construction. Needless to say, I have over eight unopened bags of candy that I brought to work today.

How fun to have a group photo of the neighborhood kids like that! I love our neighborhood too and Halloween is always a good reminder of that.
