    Ants in My Pants

Do you ever get to work and never settle down because your mind is jumping all over the place? The list of items that must be accomplished today is prominently posted near your computer screen and you ignore it because you cannot stand to sit still in your chair? You coffee cup is empty - twice - and you can barely stand to keep yourself from going to grab another cup.

I am antsy today. It's not just that taxes are due (or extensions, in our case) and 1st quarter estimates are due, but it is also that I did not get my regularlyl scheduled run in this morning.

Oh, I managed to squeeze in some sort of run, but not the one I wanted. So my mind is racing trying to decide if I go home at lunchtime and run 2-3 mi at that time, or if I wait until after the kids go to sleep tonight. The problem with option 1 is that I am out of the office for just over an hour, again not good for actually marking things off the list. The good side is that I may actually be focuse this afternoon. The problem with option 2 is that I am not sure I will actually do that this evening and it makes my legs tired for tomorrow's run. And of course I will not be focused at all, then.

So, here I am . I think I will go with door #1, please. Maybe a 2 mi run to complement the 2 mi run I did this morning. Hm. What do you think?

Go for #1! I find it hard to exercise in the evening from both a motivation standpoint and trying to get to sleep afterwards. If I workout at lunch I find I am much more focused in the afternoon.

Sorry I missed this. But I would have skipped it all together with the understanding that I would really focus on it in the morning...

    Too late now. :) Sorry.
