    Take 2 - Language & Wine

Gretchen - contrapuntal was used by the WSJ weekend edition (cannot remember regarding what) and I have read it no less than three times in the same novel about Eleanor of Aquitaine. It was used twice in less than five pages, somewhere in the last 85% of the novel.

Well - I did not actually open a bottle of anything. N was to go to a slumber birthday party, but the guests of honor were both afflicted by the 'flu, so he was home with us. Had he been elsewhere, we were going to have my inlaws watch J. Maybe next weekend.

Joansy - I would find a suitable reason to open that Opus One soon! However, it will age well if you do not.

As for us - I think we have a good reason to open a good bottle soon. I finished our preliminary financials for December. Preliminary only because I need to scrub all the numbers and estimates even more and I am sure I will have found some additional profit gains. I am usually ahead of the game, but not this. Nevertheless, we have had a good year and it does require a bit of celebration.

    Here's raising a glass to gains.. :)

Still trying to use contrapuntal in a sentence. Really use. Not like I just did. :)
