    Another Marathon Weekend

Not referring to this specific weekend, but another running weekend with friends coming into town for the special event.

    The event? OKC Memorial Marathon
    The date? April 27, 2008
The friends? Gretchen and her dad - both of whom rock - and Anne
Friends to cajole to join us? Builder Mama, Christina, Aimee (but I am doubtful on the last two because C will be close to giving birth and very likely grounded and it is Aimee's birthday weekend) and any others - tell us if you want to join in because the more the merrier

Will I run the marathon? unlikely, but who knows?

The event itself is really good and heartbreaking. Seeing the Memorial is emotional. Viewing the 168 chairs representing each victim is heart-wrenching. The 168 seconds of silence observed prior to the start of the race is bone-chilling.

I'm looking forward to it! I am only doing 1/2, but I can't wait to cheer G and her dad on as they run the whole. It is a great event.

Maybe BuilderMama and I could find three other brave souls for the relay?

Can't wait to see you both again. Would love to see Heather and BM as well!

Keep me in the loop.... I might be up for it! I can cheer really loud! I could easily drive up. Dropping the kids in Dallas on the way.
