    Happy Birthday, Miss Jocelyn!

A year ago a baby girl entered my life and I have not been the same since. She is sweet, but strong. She is cute, but ornery. She is everything a little girl should be. She is starting to wrap her daddy around her finger. Her big brother is already there.

She has been an amazingly good baby. She sleeps well, eats well, has been quite healthy. She is crawling and cruising, not yet walking. She does not yet have a lot of hair, either, but what she does have is dark. Her eyes remain blue.

I know that as Miss J becomes a teenager, I will experience a range of emotions that are singular to mother / daughter relationships. I know we will weather those times and come out the other end as mother / daughter and hopefully as friends, too.

To my beautiful, fabulous little girl, Happy Birthday!!!!

How could she possibly be a year old when you had her like two weeks ago? Boy that year flew by fast. Happy Birthday sweet girl and congrats T on a successful first year.
