Hump Day Tidbits
Sorry, y'all. I have been utterly swamped at work trying to get estimated tax payments made and extensions filed, answering final questions on fiscal year end audit, and addressing more questions from IRS auditor. It has been crazy, to say the least.
I had a tooth removed in preparation for an implant. OMG. I am swollen and black & blue. I called the office today and they said the swelling peaks around day 3 (tomorrow) and should go down from there. In another 2 months, I will have the titanium screw placed, then another 2 months will have the porcelain tooth. Fun stuff, I tell you. I look slightly (or not slightly) deformed.
The house is progressing. The breakfast nook and master bath is now framed. It is going to be awesome once complete and it has not been too bad so far. I know the next six months will pass quickly.

I am reading a very good book, written by a Russian who emigrated to France, then fled Paris in 1942 during the German invasion. She had planned to write five parts of a novel and was in the process of of writing when she was shipped to Auschwitz, where she later died. Her daughters kept the manuscript that she had completed and it was recently published. I highly recommend it.
That's about it. I know there is a lot more, but I cannot seem to focus on anything more than this.
