    Hubby's Car

Last Thursday morning, Warren was hit by a woman who lost control of her vehicle en route to taking her husband to the hospital for surgery.

Warren saw that she had lost control and veered to the right to avoid her (she was coming from the opposite direction and was to turn at the light, but lost control and started to do a 180 degree turn), she hit the driver's side, his car toppled over and hit a concrete retaining wall at the hospital's parking lot. He had nary a scratch on him. He played it off so nonchalantly that I had no idea on the degree of severity of the accident until we went to collect his items from the car this past weekend. Hopefully, the car will be totalled.
She was 100% at fault. Apparently, the crash was on the 6 a.m. news that morning. I had just missed seeing it. This happened about 1.5 miles from our home. And thank goodness neither child was with him. I think it is a testament to his defensive driving abilities, but I did have to ask him if he was speeding (he is notorious for his lead foot and somewhat aggressive driving style). He said he was not. Also, it had snowed just a tad, a light, powdery snow, but it was 15 degrees or so, and she was coming up a slight hill. Either way, neither party was injured.

Glad all are ok. I'm guessing that they will total it since all the airbags depolyed.
