Happy Birthday, Anne!

My good friend - I daresay best friend - Anne is turning 29 today!

We met through an online bulletin board for working moms. She had been posting to the multiples board with another of the working moms, who told her she needed to come over to working moms and meet me. We both live in / around Tulsa and had children within 8 months of each other.

So we started an online correspondence, moved it to email, then decided to meet at a Panera Bread, with our boys. My son had just turned one, I think, and her twins were 20 or 21 months. Her mom came with her as a safety net. My husband happened to be working about 1/4 mi away. Both our husbands thought we were insane.

It was a great match. We have become very close. I could not imagine not having her, her boys, her husband and her parents in my life. Her parents live within a mile of where we live, but she lives roughly 35 min away. Summertime is filled with meeting at her parents' pool and a stocked cooler.

She is generous, funny, intelligent, down to earth and fun.

Sadly, it has probably been 2 years since we last had a chance to have lunch by ourselves. I am resolved to do it again this year.
