    Hump Day + 1 = Day 7 of Ice

Have you guys seen these? Have you had them? They are divine. I am a peppermint addict and if you add dark chocolate onto them, they are a curiously yummy mint.

Anyway, here we are on Day 7 of the ice storm. It was officially three ice storms on consecutive days, I think. School has been cancelled all week. The kids are going stir crazy! I have a friend who works out of her house and her little boy is about to drive her nuts. I may have to rescue her this weekend and have him over to play. However, he tends to drive me bonkers, too... The weathermen are predicting snow for Saturday.

I did not make it outside to run my 18 mi run this past weekend and decided against running it on the treadmill. I will have no choice but to do it this weekend - and on the treadmill. In preparation, I have bought a little jar of Vasoline for chafing. UGH. The thought of it is dreadful. But the thought of running a marathon in 6 short weeks without proper training is even more dreadful.

Really, very little to say. I feel like I am in semi-hibernation mode because of the inability to get out and about. I have been coming to work - either catching a ride with hubby or my FIL has come to get me and the kids. The kids are playing with their cousins. I think they are having fun, at least. The cupboards are starting to become bare.

Hope that you dig out soon, I'd be nuts! Hafta go looking for those Altoids.

It looks like we might actually get a little bit of winter here, we'll see.

I'll definitely check out the altoids asap.
And I'll quit complaining about how cold it is in Las Vegas - I forget how cold real cold can be.

You have cabin fever because of weather, we have it because of germs, and now they say we'll get the weather here now too. Just my luck. Two times the cabin fever!!!

Oohh...the chafing. Have you tried Aquaphor? It seems to work as well as the vaseline, but not quite as gooey. And this is me not listening to the part about the mint and dark chocolate...

    Your DaDa Sez-
Our doctor recommended Aquaphor for sore lips and I use it for chaffing, too. Wonderful stuff. Mom used it to heal the corners of her mouth.
