Joy to the World...
...without Mommy or a close relative, like Nana. Here's the deal: Daycare does not have a spot until mid to late December and I need to work more than I have been working. Now that she is 2 months old and is more interactive, she is more of a distraction at work. I emailed the mom of one of Son's friends to inquire where she found her nanny. This mom works out of her home, has an almost one year old and has had a nanny since the beginning of summer. Fortunately for me, she offered to share her nanny until Jocelyn can go to daycare.
This morning, I dropped J off at their house, picked up their little boy and dropped both boys off at school. They were good boys on the way to school - sang songs the entire way. It helped alleviate the heartache of leaving J. J is such a good little girl that I hope the nanny loves her like I do.
Whew. I am a bit sad. I remember how hard it was to leave Son at daycare. This is hard, too. But when you hear a little boy's voice start with, "Jeremiah was a bullfrog / was a good friend of mine" things are looking up.

I'll be thinking about you today.
Hugs and congrats!
Yea! to N. for making the day go better. I can't believe she's already 2 months old.
Big, big hugs
Awwww! Nothing more charming than a little kid singing, and nothing better to cheer you up when you need it most.
