End of Week Thoughts

First, some pics from my week to share with you.
Hubby wanted to buy Son a new b-ball and new hoop for his birthday. Hoop was installed on Thursday and Son was overjoyed. He shoots hoops at his after care program all the time and is psyched to have a real backboard and hoop at home.
I have been bringing baby J to work with me. Yesterday, I managed a full 9 hrs in the office. Today, we did not make it to the office until 1 p.m., but here she is beside my desk. She looks content. Her color is much more olive than N's was. It could be her strange roots - she is 1/16 Cherokee and about 1/8 Jewish descent. Her hair is very dark. Her lashes look to be as good as long and luscious as N's are. My fingers are crossed for her. I do not remember when the eye color becomes prominent. Anyone want to refresh me?

Just had a discussion on what films you would let your 5/6 year old son watch. I think I am a hypocrite. There are some that are deal-breakers and others I would let him watch because there is some redeeming value. What about you?
My hair. It needs to be colored. My dark and grey roots are showing. Ack! When to find 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get this done?
My breasts. HUGE. Need to buy nursing / pumping bra in a bad way. But, they are doing some good work right now. I am finding myself more and more dedicated to pumping / serving J breast milk than I ever thought possible. The only downside is I would really like to have my small breasts back. But I know it is temporary and a very minor inconvenience given the good they are doing. Excuse me while I pat myself on the back.
Skinny Jeans. I'm back in them. No thanks to the VD diet I have been on since last Friday. That's vomit and diahrrea. It lasted several days.
Running. Since the VD diet took over, my running has slacked. But today I ran a healthy 4 mi in 36 min. Not stellar fast, but good considering the past week. I am stoked to run outside tomorrow morning in the crisp fall weather.
Sex. I am so ready. I have 5 days left before my 6 wk post-partum visit will clear me for all normal activity. I think I may bend the rules a bit this weekend. I think poor Hubby is more than ready. I thought I would do this a couple weeks ago, but crying baby J had other plans.
Have a wonderful weekend, my friends.
