Vacation's Biggest Question

What time do we want to eat ice cream today?
That burning question summarizes the laid back, unplanned and completely relaxing vacation to Jackson Hole / Teton Village. The self contained resort village had many restaurant and cafe options (terrible service, but that's to be expected in a mountain resort town, imo), was incredibly child-friendly, and we had no need to venture out of the village.
We made one feeble attempt at going to Yellowstone, cut it short at Jenny Lake in Teton National Forest, returned via Jackson, where we stopped for lunch and then happily returned to the village. We did not need our rental car.
Some great kid activities: bungee cord jumping on trampoline; climbing wall with 4 different faces; ski lift; tram ride; small creek in which to float boats; lots of open spaces with gorgeous lawns on which to play frisbee; playground; pool. What more could a child want?

This was our type of vacation. I joked to hubby that he only needed to take 1/2 day PTO each day as he worked at least 4 hr/day, whether it was on the computer or on the phone. That is to be expected when we vacation, so 4 hr/day is not too bad, really.
I ran or walked each morning, saw hot air balloons and paragliders each day.
Hubby and Son rented a bicycle one day and rode about 12 miles.
Overall, it was awesome. We will do it again. Loved it. Highly recommend it. I was disappointed in not going to Yellowstone and showing Old Faithful to Son, but realize that driving and fighting bad drivers is not #1 on Hubby's vacation to-do list. Maybe in a few years.
