    Knee Deep in Home Depot

So I am about 80% complete with the analysis portion of my case study of Home Depot, circa 1986. It is actually interesting, yet I wish I could fast forward through the drudgery of it all and end up at next Thursday night (in 8 days) and go home to sleep. Between now and next Thurs, the things due for class is high. Tomorrow at 5:30 p.m., I must have one emailed document to my professor - my case - should be whatever suitable length + exhibits to explain the situation and make recommendations. Hmph. Monday is our final exam. Thurs is case presentation plus critiques of everyone else's cases (three different cases, 7 people in the class, so 6 critiques). Not too much to ask, is it?

As I said yesterday, Hubby is out of town, not to return until Friday afternoon. It's actually a good thing because he is not in the office demanding something be done THIS VERY MOMENT by me or my staff. So we can work in peace and I can grind away at my schoolwork. Thank goodness it ends next week.

My sister in law has been taking care of my son in the afternoons and he is having a blast playing with his cousins. One cousin is 9 mo to the day older than he is and the other is 4 years older. They are good children and sister in law is an excellent mom. She noticed that I looked exhausted yesterday, told her mom, and so my mother in law just called to offer to keep son overnight tonight to allow me to rest and to finish up my project without being a complete ball of stress and nerves.

I am incredibly lucky. Most people do not have such fabulous relationships with their in-laws. I can bitch about them and find faults with them, but the truth is that they are very good people with hearts the size of the sky.

    I need a tissue.

    Does Home Depot sell tissues?

Even if they don't have tissues, per se, those blue towels they sell aren't too rough and they are awfully absorbent.

My ILs are the living end, too. I've told hubby a number of times I very nearly married him just because his family is so incredible.
