Addictions
I have an addiction to Amazon.com, specifically for books. I will buy the used / new books and save a bundle, the shipping is cheap, but sometimes takes a week or longer and I usually have forgotten that I bought the book by the time it arrives. When it arrives, it's like a gift!
For example, my to-be-read pile is extensive:
Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln - Doris Kearns Goodwin
Suite Francaise - Irene Nemirovsky
March - Geraldine Brooks
American Theocracy - Kevin Phillips
Blindness - Jose Saramago
The Hero's Walk - Anita Rau Badami
Cotton - Christopher Wilson
A Year and a Day - Leslie Pietrzyk
Little Children - Tom Perotta
Everything is Illuminated - Jonathon Safran Foer
Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro
Atonement - Ian McEwan
So many books, only one life. Where does one begin?
