    Reprise: Job Interview

I changed my mind. The woman I interviewed today is my candidate and I have written an offer that will go out on Monday. She is in her 30's, a mom, went back to school to earn her accounting degree. She will be able to make an impact immediately and has done tax accounting for the past few months, but has no interest in public accounting. Have you ever just looked at someone and known that he or she completely and totally gets it? This is her. She is going to set my team on fire.

    School

I did it. I enrolled in grad school and am taking a class this summer. It will be six weeks long, twice a week for 3.5 hr each. It is Working Capital Management and something that will be immediately useful in my position.

    Babies

Baby's heartbeat could not be found today, so doctor gave me peak. Poor peanut was curled up beside my pelvis and nothing could be seen insofar as gender. But the heartbeat was strong, was able to see the spine and hands and feet. Have ultrasound scheduled for May 24. Very excited. But also had blood taken for the triple screen test today. Results next week. Cross your fingers, toes, knees, elbows and eyes for me.

I am crossing every appendage for you! I'm sure everything will turn out fine with the afp.

WTG on finding the right candidate...I'll be anxious to see how she works out. Any Timberline experience? Just curious.
