Randoms:
1. I have a payroll position open, posted an ad in the newspaper and at the local colleges. I have been inundated with resumes and cover letters today. This is the 2nd time in the past 9 months I have posted for this position. I opted to not fill it last time and my interim solution is no longer working out. A young man just dropped by the office to hand deliver his resume and I want to hire him on the spot. Do you ever just know it's going to be a good fit? I like that he is male, 1.5 yr out of college, readily available, has very applicable experience, but not enough experience to have become comfortable and in a rut. I wanted someone young (I should be struck down for saying that) that I could mold. I like that I don't have to think about another dominant female personality in my group. I already have enough of that. He would be my 2nd male, my 5th person. And I liked him. He seemed interested and asked some questions. He will be back on Wed for an interview.
2. I am now 16 wks pregnant, am down 1 lb from pre-pregnancy weight. I am relieved it is going back in the other direction, but not coming on at a fast rate.
3. Have the alpha fetal protein test on Friday. Sort of nervous about it.
4. My parents received another offer on their house, they countered and are now sitting on the buyer's counter. I think they should accept it and start the next chapter of their lives. I am anxious to hear what they do.
5. Son has to have two cavities filled on Wednesday, his first.
6. I am energized with reading and cannot wait to begin Kevin Phillips' American Theocracy. For those of you who are fiscal conservatives, social liberals, moderate in most things, I think this is for us.
7. We are anxiously awaiting news on prequalification for a 2nd mortgage to add about 1600 sf onto our house. That means a new kitchen for me and moving the laundry room from the basement to the 2nd floor. Ah, that would be heaven.
8. I ran a kick-ass 3 mi in 25 min this morning. Fast for me, slow for many. I added weights onto the final set of lunges in my routine and they are hard, but oh so good.
9. Busy week ahead of us. Swimming lessons on Wed, Renaissance Fair at son's school Thursday evening, no school on Friday. Son will be going to my in-laws and will have a blast.

I just love meeting people that you click with, especially in this industry. It's so rare.
Boo hoo on N's cavities...we haven't even taken Joey yet and I am dreading it.
And WTG on the run. I need to e-mail you to discuss exercise during pg since it seems that I'm headed in that general direction.
